LONDON (MarketWatch) -- Unilever , the Anglo-Dutch consumer products giant, said third-quarter profit dropped 36% to 1.05 billion euros ($1.56 billion), or 36 eurocents a diluted share, as revenue slipped 2% to 10.2 billion euros. Unilever said earnings fell more quickly than sales due to disposals of businesses last year. Excluding restructuring, disposals, and other one-off items, and Unilever would have earned 43 cents a share.
