Moody's lowers outlook on Nestle's 'Aa1' rating 10/28/2009
SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Moody's Investors Service on Wednesday affirmed Nestle SA's Aa1 rating but lowered the outlook to negative from stable. "The negative outlook reflects the currently weak positioning of Nestle in its rating category combined with the continuation of a shareholder-friendly financial policy and, in particular, the recent announcement that share buybacks will be accelerated in 2009," says Marie Fischer-Sabatie, Moody's vice president-senior analyst and lead analyst for Nestle. The downgrade will impact about $8 billion in long-term debt. At MarketWatch
