- NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Japan Airlines Corp. will receive up to $1.1 billion in emergency loans from the state-run Development Bank of Japan, the Associated Press reported Tuesday, citing an unnamed source. The news service said the Japanese transport ministry authorized the loans after it was evident the carrier would have to ground flights otherwise.
