(CEL) announced the dismissal of a purported class action filed against the Company in May 2009, in the District Court of Tel-Aviv-Jaffa, by two plaintiffs alleging to be the Company's subscribers, in connection with allegations that the Company unlawfully charged its subscribers for cellular internet "surfing packages" without obtaining their consent. The motion for certification as a class action was dismissed without prejudice and the lawsuit was dismissed with prejudice, at the plaintiffs' request. Had the lawsuit been certified as a class action, the total amount claimed from the Company was estimated by the plaintiffs to be ~NIS 1.2 billion.
