SEATTLE (AP) - Alaska Airlines, a unit of Alaska Air Group Inc., said Monday it launched daily nonstop service between Portland, Ore., and Chicago's O'Hare International Airport. The carrier has launched several new routes from Portland. Alaska Air Group, based in Seattle, also is the parent of Horizon Air. Its shares added $1.01, or 3.5 percent, to $29.86 in morning trading.
