Pinnacle Airlines passenger counts rise, Colgan’s fall in October

Pinnacle Airlines Corp. had divergent passenger counts in October for its subsidiaries, Pinnacle Airlines Inc. and Colgan Air Inc.

Pinnacle Airlines Inc. reported 934,740 passengers in October, up 1.4 percent compared to last October. Year-to-date, it has transported 9 million passengers, up from 8.6 million for the same year-ago period.

Colgan reported 233,783 passengers in October, down 8.4 percent compared to 255,104 last October. Year-to-date, however, Colgan has transported 2.2 million passengers compared to 2.1 million passengers in the same year-ago period.

Memphis-based Pinnacle Airlines Corp. (NASDAQ: PNCL) is an airline holding company. It is the largest regional airline operating at Memphis International Airport.
