Treasurys stay lower after U.S. jobless data

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Treasurys stayed under pressure, sending their yields higher, early on Wednesday, after the U.S. government reported weekly jobless claims fell under 500,000 for the first time in nearly a year. Yields on the benchmark 10-year Treasury bond rose 2 basis points to 3.333%. Two-year yields were up 3 basis points to 0.758%, and those on the 30-year bond gained 1 basis point to 4.269%. Separately, the Commerce Department said consumer spending rose 0.6% in October while real disposable income rose 0.2%.
